Each year CCV provides a crew training course for aspiring sailors using a two-tiered approach. Students learn the basics required of all crew members in a series of four Tuesday night classes which run from 6:30 - 8:30 P.M. The classroom sessions are followed by on-the-water practice sessions, most often on the following Wednesday as part of regularly scheduled practice races.

The show time on Wednesdays is 5:15 P.M.

The class begins on May 27, 2008 and the fee is $75. This fee pays for the instruction, class materials, CCV Club Membership, CCV Book, and a cookout on the last day of class.

This is a great opportunity to learn new skills, meet new people, break into the sport of sailboat racing and most importantly...have FUN!

The classes will be held at the Hampton Yacht Club, 4707 Victoria Blvd (Map) in Hampton.
